Ever since I started my business, I’ve looked up to several artists and mentors.

They don’t know it, but their creativity, knowledge and drive has inspired me to be the best I can be! Here’s to inspirational mentors (whether they know it or not)... who’s yours?

As I know many of you are already using Skillshare to learn and improve their skills (I do, too), here are my top 5 Skillshare teachers that have changed my life (so far).

1 Peggy Dean

Peggy is brilliant. If I had to choose just one teacher, I would be her. I adore her style, her creativity and mindset and I’m huge fan of her books and classes. Follow her on instagram @thepigeonletters and be sure to check out her classes on Skillshare.

2 Liz Kohler Brown

Liz is an artist, designer, author and teacher. Her classes on Skillshare contain so much wisdom, inspiration and fun and I can highly recommend checking her out.

3 Bonnie Christine

Bonnie Christine is an artist and surface pattern designer. I love her view on design, colours and, obviously, surface pattern design. Her Skillshare classes are brilliant and will really help you if you’re interested in surface pattern design.

4 Lisa Glanz

Lisa Glanz is amazing. If you’ve already watched one of her classes, you’ll know what I’m talking about. She’s a multi-passionate illustrator living on the sunny coast of South Africa and I recommend both her classes and her instagram account.

5 Anne Bollman

Anne Bollman is an author and illustrator. You might know her instagram account annewashereandthere or her studio Anne Was Here. I loved watching her Skillshare courses on illustration and greeting card design.

Happy learning and creating!
